I’ve been really busy over the last few weeks. Between getting this website completed, teaching in Newfoundland (which was really fun), teaching privates and working out, I’ve had little time for much else.

A few weeks ago I started lifting weights again and I must admit that I went at it way to hard!! I could barely walk for the week after and once my legs healed I still couldn’t extend my arms completely. It was my fault mainly because I decided to do my first weight lifting workout in over a year and a half during a day when I was really pissed off over some things.

In only a short time my body seems to have adjusted to the workouts and I’m barely sore after weight training. My muscle memory seems to be good as I am quickly making gains in strength and conditioning.

On the mats I’m feeling better than ever, both with and without the gi (unform) on. I’m sitting at 195lbs which is a very comfortable weight for me.

I’m looking forward to training hard throughout the summer and see how the body, the head and everything else reacts.

I’ll keep you guys updated.
