I was really disappointed in Machidas performance in this fight, I'm not going to take anything away from shogun, he put up a great fight and he should of got the decision. For me lyota just never seemed to get started which was a shame because I like his style, anyway a slightly dubious decision by the judges but machida remains champ

Overall, pretty decent. Some were quite lopsided, others were pretty even and hard to call.

Machida is my favorite fighter to watch but if the Shogun who spanked Rampage and Arona shows up, or even the one who went toe to toe with baby Nog, he is going to beat Machida. He is very underrated on the ground. If the Shogun who fought Forrest shows up he'll be lucky to get out of the first.

I'd like Machida to win, if for nothing else than to have a LHW champion hold it past at least 1 defend, which neither Rashad nor Forrest could. Maybe it's a curse of the TUF grads? Matt Serra didn't make a successful defend, either. I need to balance my desire to see a Champ actually hold on to the belt with my desire to see undefeated streaks end.

Machida by decision.

I pick Rothwell, too. A longer carreer, over twice as many wins, and has fought opponents with a greater variety of styles. I also tend to not like fighters who haven't lost. They seem a little more cocky and not quite as hungry for that victory, since they've become used to winning (even if it's only subconsciously), whereas those who know what it's like to lose tend to try harder to avoid it.

Rothwell by KO either late 2nd or early 3rd.

The rest I haven't been paying too much attention to, so I'm not quite sure what to pick. Of course, the last few big fights, I've tended to pick the loser (actually, every time I made a pick, they lost), so.....

Machida - TKO in the 1st
I thought Rampage was the best bet to beating Machida, and since he's retired, welcome to the Machida Era.
Rothwell - KO in the 2nd
Kongo had so many chances to put Cain away that he wasted on clinching rather than throwing. I don't think Rothwell will make that mistake, and he's got some strong punches.
Tibau - Sub in the 3rd
Not really sure how he will win, I kinda just stuck that in there so it wouldn't be blank. Tibau is a huuuuuge guy for his weightclass, and I think his bjj is better than Neer's.
Johnson - KO in the 1st
Johnson is a monster. Pretty much sums it up.

I have no idea how to call the Stevenson vs. Fisher fight. Fisher is amazing but the new and improved Stevenson is as well. Definite fight of the night.
